The One.
It may seem like there are hordes of people just waiting for “the one” or “that one person,” to come and save them from being alone, or to change them for the better, to be the rock, the foundation.
But how did this perception come to be? This co-dependency, this fight against self; or more importantly, in the end, does this kind of perception diminish self-reliance...

Just an imagination
Maybe I’m hearing these things now ‘cos somehow I still wish for you to be here
to confirm that in some way, people can persevere, be preserved; that being unique being special, toil, and work is worth it. That it isn’t all just destined to be trashed at the end of a long day.
Change.
It feels like I’m doing something wrong these days.
I guess in a way I still feel confused, and mostly perplexed over what has happened. And I don’t know how to change it, but why stay the “you” that you thought you were when change is bound to happen? You spend years trying to define who you perceive yourself to be, only to have it all swept away.

It's so hard to look the other way.

I may have overreacted, but the reaction was not shortsighted. Neither is my obstinacy against letting go of certain people, and certain habits, even when I know I may have long outgrown them.

I always wondered why the symbol “ゆ” (said “yu”) was on the door to the bath house. I asked my Japanese teacher, and he wasn’t sure so I did a little research.
