These days, we take love for granted. We don’t find appreciation in it. We rush it and pamper it. What happened to the old days where you courted a girl? Where you’d buy her flowers just because you passed by a flower market? Where guys didn’t expect to get laid and kissing only happened at the end of a long courtship. Where “I love you” didn’t leave your mouth for months instead of days. Why do we find beauty in cheap cleavage instead of personality? Why does being skinny or fat or gay or interracial have anything to do with love? Some days I just really question if anyone remembers what love used to feel like anymore.
Most only care about getting laid.
